The New MBP @ Mac World 2008

Apple's High End notebook - the Apple Mac Book Pro (MBP) has not got a update since June 2007 and as apple usually upgrades its MBP in about every 6 months it would be fair enough to anticipate a update in Jan 2k8.

But the intersting thing to note is that Intel has announced the release of their new 45 nm Penryn Processors on Jan 8 just before the Mac World. Could this mean that MBP's will have Penryn inside them ? Yes is the answer if they do get an Upgrade, Apple will go for Penryn as these processors have increased cache (L2) memory to 1.5 times their predecessors and are less power consuming, which means cooler notebooks.

Though they might not have any price increase in the upcoming models the Question which remains is what will be the Additional Features in these models.
